- 3 inches Fresh Ginger Root
- 2 inches Fresh Turmeric Root
- 1 large Lemon
- 1 medium Orange
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup Water
Blend or Juice
If using a blender, chop the ginger and turmeric into small pieces.
Add the ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, orange juice, black pepper, and water into the blender.
Blend until smooth.
If using a juicer, juice the ginger and turmeric roots directly and then mix with the citrus juices, black pepper, and water.
Strain the Mixture
Place a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth over a bowl or jug
Pour the blended mixture through the sieve to remove the pulp, pressing with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
