Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1-2 inches fresh turmeric root, peeled and roughly chopped (or 1-2 teaspoons ground turmeric)

  • 1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

Notes

Tips:
  • Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup according to taste preferences.
  • Fresh turmeric and ginger provide a more vibrant flavor, but ground versions can be used for convenience.
